He’s riding in Njehu’s wake - an old Ivinian expression, meaning someone has deserted their home and clan, trading responsibilities and safety for adventure and the quest for fortune on the high seas.

This campaign traces the fortunes of a group of exiled young Orbaalese Vikings. Their clan's holdings have been usurped in a bloody coup. The clan has split into two factions, those who support the new Valhakar, and turn a blind eye to his heretical Agrikan tendencies, and those that remain true to the old ways. As much as a third of the clan has been slaughtered or driven into exile.

The players represent one of these exiled groups, lead by the previous Valhakar’s grandson and rightful heir, a young huscarl of great potential but little experience of the world.
